That is a great article, and it raises an interesting question. What happens if another Republican is elected POTUS? The more people depend on the federal government, the more they will be let down when an incompetent person is elected.
America is a great country because it can survive someone as corrupt as Nixon or someone as stupid as Bush 43. These are the kinds of calamities that have happened before and can happen again. Obama needs to prepare this country for this kind of contingency.
