Saturday, June 27, is the National Health Care Day of Service. Thousands of Organizing for America volunteers will participate in projects throughout the country to help improve health care for our fellow Americans. You can find out more information and sign up here.

Locally, the best event scheduled for National Health Care Day of Service will actually be at St. Mary's Catholic Church, downtown FW on Thursday, June 24th at 6pm. Here are the details (from the OFA website)
"We will join with Hoosiers for a Commonsense Health Plan and Physicians for a National Health Program on Wednesday, June 24 at 6 p.m. (NOT June 27) at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1101 S. Lafayette Blvd, Ft. Wayne, IN. The Frontline documentary "Sick Around the World" will be shown with discussion led by Tom Hayhurst, MD and Eve Bratton, RN, NP.
