This is not confirmed by the Obama campaign, but the word on the street (at least, on my street) is that Michelle Obama will be speaking at North Side High School on Friday afternoon (tomorrow, April 25) at 4 p.m.
On a personal note, your humble correspondent is thrilled to have been asked to introduce Michelle. Wow. Now I just have to figure out the right thing to wear, because as we all know, what women wear matters.
Details will be forthcoming but stay tuned to the Obama campaign website.

Congratulations Karen!! That certainly is an honor. :)

Congrats on this honor, Karen..what a wonderful opportunity! I am sure you will do a great job no matter your attire...... BUT, since I will not be able to attend, Please be sure someone reports on your footwear because I will be dying to know how your shoes stack up to Ms. Foates'. (I am so glad someone else noticed that portion of the article)
Enjoy!

I was really bummed out to see the descriptions of Kris' shoes in that article. Seriously? Would they have done that for a man??

The only man who gets his shoes mentioned in a news article is the Pope. (And then ONLY because they are red)
