Outside looking in....

Matt Kelty supporters have been lamenting the lack of support from the GOP "insiders" for months.

However, last week, Mark Souder endorsed Matt Kelty.  Also at that press event was Liz Brown and Mitch Harper, both Republican candidates for City Council.  (also worth noting, Harper, Brown and Kelty were all endorsed by Fred Rost's "right to life' PAC).

Some local bloggers are thrilled that Souder is publicly supporting Matt Kelty.  Other Kelty supporters, however, are not happy.  They saw Kelty's lack of support from the "good ole' boys" as a sign of no longer doing "business as usual".

This is a shift in strategy for the Kelty campaign- no doubt trying to motivate the base that they are rapidly losing.
